A woman is accused of scraping the dead skin from her feet and putting it in milk, which she gave to her family.
Sarah Preston Schrock is said to have contaminated the milk with dead skin from her feet and then served it to family members at her home.
On Sunday, May 3, 2015, Deputy Steinbach of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Finch Court in Mechancsville, for a reported violation of an active peace order.
The poisoning or contaminating of food charge is a felony punishable by up to 25 years in jail.
The 56-year-old is accused of second-degree assault on Allison Depriest and Jessica Whitney Hurry at her home.
‘Schrock was alone at the home that day until Hurry and Depriest arrived at dinner time, and they were drinking the milk when Depriest began choking and coughed up what looked like dead human skin.’
Court papers say Hurry also gagged while drinking the milk.
Police were told Schrock had trays of dead skin in her bedroom.
According to court documents Schrock went before District Court Commissioner Christopher Leseman and was released on her own personal recognizance.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 2:50 pm, Cpl. K. Hunt of the Maryland State Police responded to the 29000 block of Finch Ct. in Mechanicsville for a reported assault.
She was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
It's Schrock's third arrest in nine days.
On April 28, she was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman and later bailed.
She was handed a peace order which she's said to have breached on May 3 by verbally contacting the alleged victim.
Schrock was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center, where she was charged with failure to comply with a peace order.
An official report by St Mary’s Sheriff Deputy Jaime Davis states: ‘Sarah P Schrock, 56, was jailed Wednesday in lieu of 10 percent of $10,000 (£6,500) bond on the food contamination charge, and committing a second-degree assault on Jessica Whitney Hurry and Allison Depriest during the incident Monday at the residence off Golden Beach Road.
